Italian Inverted Contrast Free Typeface

Blackest is an inverse contrast wedge serif typeface family, designed by Francesco Canovaro and Andrea Tartarelli as a development of the Blacker typeface designed by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini. Borough Grotesk is a basic revival font, based on the version of Thorowgood Sans Shaded (orig.1839) that can be found in the 1953 Stephenson Blake Specimens of Printing Types. Herbert Font Free Regular

Herbert is a Didone Display font designed by Danilo De Marco in 2019 for the K95 communication studio. Its construction is characterized by the strong contrast between thick and thin rods, which give to the typeface a strong aesthetic and elegant appearance, For this reason it is unsuitable for the composition of long texts to small dimensions. Instead, it is suitable for the editing of titles or particular graphic/typographic compositions.

Didone Room Numbers Display Font Family

Inspired by a had painted hotel room number plate I saw in Vienna, Austria. This non-alphabetic serif font focuses on numerical and currency symbols. It clearly belongs to Didone clan of typefaces and is majorly meant to be used as a display font.

College Block 2.0

College Block has been revamped and joins the 2.0 class. The letters are about 30% taller, just waiting to be arched and thrown on a University sweater. Several of them, along with European accents have been redesigned completely. Cyrillic makes its way into this font along with many other diacritics for international support.

Baro

Baro is a family of seven sans serif fonts. Its style is geometric, and its letterforms are all-caps. Some of the Baro fonts can be layered overtop one another for chromatic typesetting. Free Serif Fonts

Serifs are defined by the small lines (or decorative features) that trail from the edges of each letter and number. Just like Slab Serifs (see further down), there are always exceptions to the rule. Free Sans Serif Fonts

The difference between a Serif and Sans Serif font, is that Sans Serifs do not have those small decorative lines that characterize Serifs.

Free Slab Serif Fonts

There are many different sub-categories to serifs, Slab just happens to be the most popular variant. Evolving from the Modern style and at times called square serifs or Egyptian, they’re defined by having a bolder serif and are primarily designed to be used as print headlines and are typically paired with a thinner and lighter font.
